I'm not sure if this is the same issue that
Wei-hsing (sorry if I
spell that wrong) is having, but we've noticed on regular occasions
our
xwiki.com wiki's become unavailable altogether (no maintenance
notices on the wiki's so assuming none being done at that time).
Occasionally, we also notice even simple page loadtime is very slow
for users that have just logged in.
At other times, our speed is very good.
A question, if I may:
The
xwiki.com sites appear to be working with a virtual wiki
configuration (which is how the new wiki's are added dynamically I am
guessing). Could it be that activity on a very resource-intensive
xwiki.com wiki is affecting all the others?
Yes it is. It's a big problem for
us, specially with the spam. when a
robot is going on lots of wikis at the same time, it slow a lot XWiki.
I forward this to the admin to know if he has ideas about the problem.
