Does anyone know of plans to improve the cutting and

abilities of
XWiki?
Definitely. The plan is the rewrite of the WYSIWYG editor using GWT. I
can't offer a deadline yet for the implementation (we're lacking
resources to work on it ATM even though the work on the design of it
has started - See
http://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Design/NewWysiwygEditorBasedOnGwt)
. I would like a first version to be available around March/April 2008
but that's currently just a wish. It depends on finding contributors
to work on it.
Thanks

It would be great to be able to cut and paste easily
between XWiki
and Word
and web pages without messing up the formatting.
