Hi, It's very likely that this feature is broken, nobody actually uses it right now so if it broke in the night, nobody would know. I wrote that document after I happened upon the code in the codebase and I wanted to write something acknowledging it's existence. I have been told that after it was implemented, static (in the xwiki.hbm.xml file) custom mapping was preferred because it performed better and dynamic mapping fell by the wayside. That document was current as of XWiki 2.0 (IIRC) and there have been some very significant changes to the store codebase since then so I would not be at all surprised if it nolonger worked.
