[xwiki-users] links to pages of style {lowerCase}*UpperCase{lowerCase}* get rendered wrongly

Hi guys,
a link to a page "smallGreenStuff" gets rendered as "small Green
Stuff". I didn't want to set up a Jira issue on this yet. Just tested
with Syntax 1.0. But that shouldn't happen, right?

Yes that's voluntary in XWiki Syntax 1.0.
If you want a different text then you need to set the label. For ex:
[smallGreenStuff>smallGreenStuff]
In XWiki Syntax 2.0 we have changed this behavior and the user will be
able to control how he wants to display link labels when labels are
not specified (it will be a configuration option).
You can follow http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWIKI-3223 to track
the progress.
