Hello,
I'm using XEM 1.7.2 with Tomcat and Apache on Debian
- I ca create virtual wiki but i can't modify them. When I try to
preview or view my change, I'm automaticly redirected to the xredirect
page...
- And if I try to login directly on a virtual wiki, I can't logout...
Could you help me ?

You would need to show a log of the URLs called. You can use Firefox's
LiveHttpHeaders for that.
Without that it's hard to help
- And if I try to login directly on a virtual wiki, I
can't logout...
You probably did not change the "domain" that is in xwiki.cfg. It
allows
to make sure your cookie is shared with all wikis.

I see.. It's a farm configured with path based wiki. It's more tricky
than based on DNS names.
This looks like the bug http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWIKI-3992
which we fixed in 1.7.1.
It's hard to help you out on this.
Thomas, do you see any reason why this would happen on 1.7.2. Can you
also verity 1.7.3 works fine in path based wiki.
Concerning the login/logout, this could be a problem to report in JIRA
that is also specific to path based wiki. The cookiedomains settings
does not have any effect in path based subwikis. However if you cannot
logout, then it means the cookie has something different for each
subwiki. I cannot say because we do not see the login part in the
headers output. Having a session of headers reported for the issue of
login/logout would be usefull. You can report in JIRA. Make sure you
document any specific authentication settings that are used in xwiki.cfg

Hello,
I'm using XEM 1.7.2 with Tomcat and Apache on Debian
- I ca create virtual wiki but i can't modify them. When I try to
preview or view my change, I'm automaticly redirected to the
xredirect
page...
You would need to show a log of the URLs called. You can use Firefox's
LiveHttpHeaders for that.
Without that it's hard to help
- And if
I try to login directly on a virtual wiki, I can't logout...
You probably did not change the "domain" that is in xwiki.cfg. It
allows
to make sure your cookie is shared with all wikis.

Concerning the login/logout, this could be a problem
to report in JIRA
I'm having this problem as well in trying to set up path-based wikis. I don't
know if this'll provide more info or not.
When I login as a "global" admin to the "test" wiki, here's the
link for the Logout button:
http://x.x.x.x:8180/xwiki/wiki/test/logout/XWiki/XWikiLogout?xredirect=http…
It then goes to the same page I was on, but I'm still logged in.
If I login as a "local" admin, the logout button is:
http://x.x.x.x:8180/xwiki/wiki/test/logout/XWiki/XWikiLogout?xredirect=http…
and it logs me out.
But, if I login as a "local" admin and hit the "Administration"
button, it throws me back to the main wiki (XEM) login page at
http://x.x.x.x:8180/xwiki/bin/login/XWiki/XWikiLogin?srid=3Skou0D7
I will switch back to domain-based wikis and see how it operates (we were hoping to use
path-based). Or I guess we could also limit ourselves to using local administrators
(which would be annoying).
