If I search the text in the field under the "Question" header it correctly
searches the FAQs. If I type the text in the "question text..." field in the
fancy search FAQ box I get the following error, "Failed to execute the [velocity]
macro". I added the filter parameter "filter=space=IT" but that didn't
make any difference. The editor has the alert "The environment prevents the table
from loading data." What else does it want?
Thanks,

Thanks. The first suggestion worked to add the FAQ to a space or Page. I could have sworn
I tried this earlier but it is working now.
The second suggestion doesn't hide anything even though the checkbox is checked to
hide it. I suspect it is because the default skin is used and the docs say the default
skin doesn't hide anything.
Thank you,

Hi,
1. Go Add menu -> Space. Let's say the new space is MyFAQ. You will be redirected
in the MyFAQ.WebHome edit state. Give a title. Save the page.
Now edit this MyFAQ.WebHome page in Edit -> Objects mode
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/PageEditing#HObjectsediti…
add an object of type FAQCode.FAQHomeClass. It should work now when you are going to visit
the MyFAQ space.
2. You can remove the FAQ space, but you need to keep FAQCode since it contains the
application functionality. In order to hide the pages see

Thanks,

I added the FAQ extension which adds a new space and a

I don't want new FAQ and FAQCode Spaces but I do want to add a FAQ to
one of the spaces. Here is what the FAQ instructions say.
By default this application creates a FAQ space in FAQ.WebHome.
However you can easily transform any other space into a FAQ space by
editing that space's WebHome page and adding an Object of type FAQCode.FAQHomeClass.
1. I added the object to the desired space page but I don't see it
in the space. It would be fine if the FAQ is either on the space page
or a FAQ page in the space. How do I make it visible in the new space
and working?
2. How do I remove or hide the FAQ and FAQCode spaces from the list
of viewable spaces?
Thank you,
