Hello, I am getting crazy with the forum app. The forum app was installed 2 years ago, in the beginning but nobody use it. Last month some new people asked to deal with a forum, so I said to them that I have the tool I create a blank group, create one user and put it inside this group. But this new user only see an empty page, it is the right one (the title is OK) , but the table with forums do not appear, nor the Button “Add a forum”. ON the rights access of the Forum page nothing is limited for any group. I look on the Rating app, nothing more restricted too. Even when I put on the Forum page a check on the access right for this group, nothing change Is there a special page for the administration rights on the Forum app ? Hello Gabriela, Thanks to help me. -> Xwiki : 7.1.1 -> Forum Applcation : 1.9.3 version. -> Ratings API : 1.3.4 version To explain again my problem : I create a new user in a new group (for limited access in other spaces) And this new user can see only the forums page without the table and topics. Other users in another groups can see it. So I do not remember where I have to put some rights to give access to this new group. Hello, Always with my issue. Only administrators and members of the first group can use the Forum App. All other groups can only view a page with the title "Forums" only. Nobody have an idea ? If I put all checks "on" the only difference is that the "Forum" icon appear on the panel. If I uncheck the Admin right, the icon disappear but nothing more. So, for this to happen: - go to the homepage of the application - choose *Administer space* option from Forums space (you can find it in the upper navigation bar) - go to *Rights* section - check the box from *Edit*, relative to your group That should work. Hello again, In order for the other groups to use the Forums Application, they need to have *EDIT* right on the Forums space. Make sure you have that right set on those other groups.
