Hi, I currently have XWIKI v2.3.2 (windows, standalone XWIKI installation) and have problems upgrading to the latest release, v 2.5 Milestone 2. All the following options have FAILED: 1. Upgrade according to the documentation: -------------------------------------------- - I've created a new xwiki dir, and copied all the WAR content into this dir. (still using the old DB) - When i'm trying to access the page i get the following error: HTTP ERROR 500 Problem accessing /xwiki/bin/view/Main/. Reason: Error number 3 in 0: Could not initialize main XWiki context Wrapped Exception: Error number 3001 in 3: Cannot load class com.xpn.xwiki.store.migration.hibernate.XWikiHibernateMigrationManager from param xwiki.store.migration.manager.class Wrapped Exception: Error number 0 in 3: Exception while hibernate execute Wrapped Exception: Could not create a DBCP pool. There is an error in the hibernate configuration file, please review it. Caused by: ... ... DB export / import -------------------------------------------- - Export DB from v 2.3 - Clean install v2.5 - Import database - Got 10MB max attachment message - After changing this limit in the XWIKIPreferences, i got JAVA heap out of memory exception while trying to import my 90mb XAR. 3. DB copy -------------------------------------------- - Clean install v2.5 - Copy database file from v2.3 to v2.5 dir - XWIKI loads and works but the Lucene search doesn't work (and i'm not sure what else.. for start, i'm unable to search inside attachments...)
