Hey there,
im new to this whole xwiki stuff and trying to upgrade our xwiki
installation, which was installed by a former employee, to the latest build.
xwiki is installed on ubuntu 12.04 with the help of apt-get some time ago.
Now i tried to upgrade the instance with /apt-get install
xwiki-enterprise-tomcat6-mysql/ .
During the installation i was asked if i want to keep some config-files,
which i did.
But now my browser shows a a 404 :( that he could not find the resource (The
requested resource (/xwiki/) is not available.)

It could be that the symlink pointing to XWiki from tomcat has been
removed because the way to describe symlinks changed, the easiest to
fix it is to apt-get remove and then apt-get install your
xwiki-enterprise-tomcat<version>-<database> package.

It could be that the symlink pointing to XWiki from tomcat has been removed
because the way to describe symlinks changed, the easiest to fix it is to
apt-get remove and then apt-get install your
xwiki-enterprise-tomcat<version>-<database> package.

No idea why this suddenly pops up with 4.4 and has not been a problem with 4.1

Hello everybody,
after cloning the server again i rerun the procedure (update via apt-get,
remove & install xwiki-enterprise-tomcat6-mysql). Then i dit not merge my
documents in the destribution wizard but replaced them with the new ones.
Now everything works fine.
