Hello,
Last week I install XWiki from deb for Debian: XWiki 3.4-RC-1
I finalized install by importing xwiki-enterprise-ui-all-3.4-rc-1.xar
That works perfectly many thanks to XWiki team.
Today, my package manager propose to upgrade to XWiki 3.5-M-1
If I upgrade my XWiki do I need also to to import
xwiki-enterprise-ui-all-3.5-m-1.xar or only some part?
Does it exist merging procedure between xwiki-enterprise-ui-all with
partial update of old version and new xwiki-enterprise-ui-all.xar?

Hi Arnaud,
You may find this interesting:

So yes, you'll have to import new ui to be able to use the new
functionalities provided by the new xwiki core.
You only have to download the .xar file you'll find on xwiki.org download
page, and to take care not to override important files! The list of these
files in the link above.

Yes if you want the new pages. The deb package only contains what's in
the war with some pre-configuration and Debian integration basically
for now.

Unfortunately the upgrade of the XAR is still the painful part in the
upgrade procedure, see

We hope to provide an easy and safe alternative with the new Extension
Manager which is a bit young for production right now specifically on
merging new standard and customized pages.
