Hi, I upgraded my xwiki to version enterprise 5.1. With this upgrade I want to set SOLR as my search engine. However everything works fine, except the search suggestions. Some suggestions work, others don't. For example I've got a page named "Videos". If I type "videos" the suggestion is exactly that page. But I can't find the page "tutorials" by suggestions even if there is a page with exactly this name! Also if I use the search page, "tutorials" would be the first shown item.... How can I fix this issue?? Thanks Tom

Well the search suggest is supposed to work as well as before 5.1. We didn't touch it.

Hello Tom, I've just tested the search suggest feature on 5.1 and I couldn't reproduce your issue. I've created multiple files with content and all of them showed up as suggestions when I searched for them. Did you search for your docs (videos, tutorials) right after you created them ? I'm asking because you have to wait a bit for the files to be indexed by Lucene in order to show up as suggestions. Hello Manuel, I did not search for them right after I created them. I indexed the whole wiki with solr before I started testing. There was no difference when I tried again after 2 hours. Is there any configuration the issue might come from? Maybe I have to change something in the xwiki.cfg? Suggestions are activated and every type of suggestions is also activated. As I said Tom, the search suggest doesn't use the Solr index. It's using the Lucene index which is started automatically too. You don't need to do anything. BTW with Solr too you don't need to manually index anything, it's done automatically.

I don't think so. The best is to test from a clean XE (hsqldb/jetty zip) with the default pages and try to reproduce your issue. This will allow us to have the exact same setup. Thanks -Vincent
