Hi.
I'm trying to connect to a remote (local lan) instance of xwiki using
xeclipse plugin.
When I try to connect I get this message:
"Failed to create input stream: Server returned HTTP response code:
503 for URL: http://coobj2/xwiki/xmlrpc/confluence"
My guess is that eventually rpc interface is not enabled by default
for remote access, but I failed locating a config panel
in xwiki or a reference to it in files.
Facts:
- I can access the same wiki by browser as admin with same credentials.
- Tomcat logs do not show lines refering to my failed attempt.
- Xwiki version is 1.0.3342.
- Xeclipse version is 1.0.0-milestone-1.
At home i'm succesful in connecting to a localhost instance, with
possibily slightly different xwiki and xeclipse version.
Can you help?

Hi Matteo,
Not sure if XEclipse works with 1.0. I've tried it with 1.1 and 1.2
but not with 1.0.
If you could confirm that it works with 1.1 that would be great and
we could update the doc on xwiki.org to mention that.

Hi vincent.
You are probably right about that, the working install was 1.1 not 1.0.
I'm going to update our enterprise install to 1.1, even if I guess it's
going to be a major pain.
After that I'll report back my results
