Feel free
to open jira issues and attach patches to them
In the future, it would be cool to have this validation as part of
our
build somehow. I haven't researched this but
that would be something
cool to have.
I don't know how the build works. It could be a nice feature. May be
jtidy could do the job.
In this line of idea, you could provide a button somewhere to check the
HTML.
2 options
- use jtidy (included already in the libs)
- use the same site leveraging its REST api (link to
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=${XYZ})
It could be as discrete as a button laying down at the bottom of the
page showing the W3C compliance logo if ok, and showing a bug if not.
Clicking on it could then link to
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=${thispage}.
Actually it could be a cool velocity macro, doesn't it?
Yep :-)
Thanks
