Hi,
Yes we definitively want to enhance the XML-RPC API as well as implement
the REST and SOAP versions of this API.
Part of it might be done during the work on the offline clients (Wicked,
the P2P client, AnyEdit, etc..) otherwise some planning will need to be
made on this.
Currently the plan is to work on the Summer of Code projects plus some
additional projects (interface work, JCaptcha integration, etc..) during
the summer and then make a status of where are after all this work and
plan accordingly.

I'm curious whether there are any plans to complete
the current
implementation of Confluence XML-RPC API in a near future or it will
be replaced by some different remote API. We are using it for various
purposes e.g. for Wiked - the off-line editor, uploading batch scripts
etc. and we miss implementation of some features that are part of the
API specification. For instance, our build script needs to set
Page.modifier property when uploading a page.
Thank you,
Jiri.
