I don't like the bi-colors.
For now my preference goes to Proposal 2 (same colors as
xwiki.org
toucan).
If the change between wikis could be more subtle it would be even
better for me. It just needs to be visible but not overwhelming IMO.
Right now it seems quite overwhelming.
if you want to make it more subtle, this means having a common
background
color and this takes us back to the bi-color proposal or the dark/
gray one.
An idea would to only change the page header color (with some pastel
colors). For ex a quite standard design rule is to use different
colors for each tab of a horizontal navigation. The background could
then be the same for all subwikis.
If we change the page header color, the white logo will be very visible and
we can't add transparency (we can try - but will lower the logo quality)
because of IE6.
