Hi,
Thank you for your votes.
I have created a dedicated section for this step
http://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/ReleasePlans/ReleasePlanHelp#HGenerateC…
and move it outside of the #HAnnouncementMail
step. Currently we will
list
the contributors only in the Release Notes.
Since there is no current way now to automate getting the translators and
testers, the section focused on code contributors. Maybe in the future we
will add additional contributors if people are interested.
Actually you could use
http://l10n.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/L10NCode/BestContributorsSheet
page for this.
For example to get contributors since 8.1 (that was released on 24 May
2016) you can use
http://l10n.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/L10NCode/BestContributorsSheet?lowerBo…
(there is also a upperBound URL parameter).
Hi Thomas,
This could be used and looks very interesting.
My only concern is that is listing 5 contributors (3 committers), while in
I've updated the ReleasePlanTemplate and thanks to Marius who updated the
ReleaseNoteTemplate.
8.2RC1 is the first release to list the contributors, check it out
http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/ReleaseNotes/ReleaseNotesXWiki82RC1/
Thanks,
Caty
