+1 to put this tutorial somewhere more visible on extensions.xwiki.org
(only there for now I think)
note: it talks a lot about XAR extensions but there is nothing really
specific to XAR in it (except for the fact that you usually do real
releases for jars)

tutorial/help or, better yet, on the same line, in the Repository
Application [1] itself either just as documentation/tutorial on the e.x.o
page or even as an XWiki document within the application which can be
linked to inside the application (on the homepage or something), since all
of that applies to any instance of the Repository Application, not just
e.x.o. (in this case we might need to factor out the instructions on
creating a user).
