Yes and that's actually one of the reasons why we
do nested spaces and
not nested document, not break anything as much as possible.
This is true for the short term proposal (7.2) only since we still use
spaces in the background.
But yes, it will possibility break a lot of applications when we apply the
long term proposal (removing the notion of spaces in the core too).

Hi,
not sure if this thread is the right place to ask the question, but was
there an analysis done yet of the impact of this change on existing apps?
Should we expect some of them to be broken after this change?

Of course there’ll be plenty of discussions/decisions to make and
they’ll all be
discussed on this list, as usual.
Note that I plan to send the usual roadmap proposal for 7.2 at the end
of this
week but I wanted to make sure we’d agree about developing this
feature first! (I hope we do agree :)).
