It`s also a good way to share knowledge and maybe drive some more technical
traffic towards xwiki.org since other people might be searching for the
same solutions we are applying :)

Nice idea. It may be also interesting to add a
section on this page to
list could be realize for the automation. Like 2 sections:
- What has been already done?
- What would be nice to have?
It can give some ideas for people who want to help.
I’ve added the section on

However:
1) be careful that it may be more interesting to send a mail about your
idea on the devs list for discussing it rather than just dumping it there.
2) we all have lots of ideas, that’s not the main issue. What we need is
people who implement automation ideas! :) If you check JIRA and the mailing
list for PROPOSAL you’ll find plenty of ideas already listed but not
implemented yet.
3) What could be even more interesting would be to add an “automation”
label to JIRA issues about automating stuff. I’ve started doing that for
the 2 I implemented over the week end:

list of: http://jira.xwiki.org/issues/?jql=labels%20%3D%20automation Then
you can filter to see: what was already done, what’s still open to do.
