I'm -1 for using definition data elements for indentation. It breaks the
semantics of the page.

I'd like to propose the following syntax for definition list and
definition terms. This is the syntax the most used by other wikis
too.
Simple definitions:
; definition title1
: definition1
; definition title2
: definition2
Nested definitions:
; definition title1
: definition1
;; definition title2
:: definition2
Indentation:
: first level indent
:: second level indent
::: third level indent
etc
Won't indentation get mixed up with lists? Like what if there's an
indented block right after a definition list?
