Hello guys,
Just for fun, I encountered this:
https://code.google.com/p/gource/
This is pretty much completely useless, but this log visualization is
very
beautiful and fascinating.
I tried it on the rendering project.
It cought me for more time than I had to spend ... ;-)
Is it possible to see the result? :)
Well it's possible to export as video, but it consumed hundreds MB in few
seconds, so would need to re-encode the vid ... :)
It's far easier (and far more beautiful) to just install the program (it's
fairly small) and just launch "gource" from the root of one of your git
clones ;) you can rotate/pan/zoom in/out with the mouse.
Just to be clearer, I could take a snapshot image of it, but it has no real
interest, this thing has not real meaning out the cool animation (it's not
a static description of the log at a point in time, it's more a cinetic
view of the history).
Thanks
-Vincent
