gives me results on any subwiki, but search within create a link

That's normal because the WYSIWYG editor searches only in the current wiki.
That's clear, and that's the reason why I said it could be useful to
have a switch there allowing/disallowing to search all wikis. Something
similar to the switch available in the Add user to group option when
editing groups in a subwiki allowing to look for Local or Global users.
In the case of user management, I think it is logic that when at
controller level you can only see users defined at that level, but when
you are in a subwiki, you can add global users to local groups.
But when dealing with documents, I think it would be useful to list
available documents in each/some subwikis to establish links in
documents created in the controlled.
Even thinking about users, it would be nice that an user defined in a
subwiki would be able to access some controller's contents, but I have
no idea about the possibility of implementation of this feature
considering the current architecture. I see this like a huge mess!
Coming back to your statement: "the WYSIWYG
editor searches only in the
current wiki". In our current farm running XE/XEM 2.4.1, the WYSIWYG
editor search doesn't show all current wiki pages.
Which pages are not shown? Can you give me an example? What do you
search for and which page is not matched by the search although it should?
Marius
Raluca and Thibaut
are working there. You could even check on your own that behaviour.
Thanks!
