The thing is... I was promoted to visual editor because I used
section editing... maybe my preferences are still visual but in all
cases, it should stick to the last editing mode it was made with.
Tell me if it works for you, just in case!

I have now
adapted the documentation bit so as to suggest to put
the properties within the settings.xml's profile... which I seem
to find appropriate.
