I'd like to propose to add an Image macro that would do the following:
* display a border
Not every one will like to have a border ! * display a
caption (if it's defined by the user)
Nice to have, but some wants the caption over, some want it aside, and some
like it under. * display a
link to see the image full screen
Which link ? a link to the attachement ? Would not a lightbox be better ?

Well, I completely understand there is a need, and I have wear my evil suit
for the above remarks. I would like to put your attention to the fact that
there is plenty of solutions to fit the need. I think having a macro to
produce all these functionalities is a must have, but we need it fully CSS
customizable. Moreover, a simple link to see the image in actual pixel size
does not provide a good experience to the reader, leaving the current page,
using back button, and so on. If we want to provide something useful in
most case, it should also allow a lightbox display solution.
The question is then, do we need a single macro with many options, or
choice of macro from which you may choose your preferred display solution ?
One macro with parameters.
Do you intend to package your macro by default or put
it as an extension ?
By default in XE I think since I can see this macro as very useful for users. But this
choice can be made later on.
