I've tried to recreate it but the interface doesn't allow me as the current
xwiki-announce list has not been completely removed. I've sent an email to the

Why do you want an "s"? Looking around it's more common I think not
Actually if we could change things I'd vote for removing the s in the
user
list too. I'd also rename the xwiki-commits in xwiki-notification
(or xwiki-notifications) as we should use it for commits + JIRA + build
results + xwiki diffs.
