I see the problem of having both variants at once. I also think to
have a global config what variant is preferred seems to be the only
way...

For example

In this case it's nicer that the space is MySpace.Private
I think we are kind of stuck here.. because changing it in to something
else will break existing installs.
I'm not really sure what should be done.. Maybe you can have a setting
in xwiki.cfg or in the preferences of the wiki to say how it should be
handled
