Most XWiki instances have now switched to the new syntax and the converter is already
helpful when converting pages. It's a lot of work to improve it further and it's

Done, I've closed these 4 issues as won't fix with the following message:
"We've decided not to spend efforts making the converter work better, see
http://markmail.org/thread/d6uvaqjcxv7cdkp3 for details. Now if a contributor supplies a
pull request, we'll gladly apply it!"
A pity I didn't do this on a BFD, that would have counted 4 issues for me ;)

Of course if any contributor or any devs suddenly
wants one day to work on improving the converter, he can do so at any time…
