I'd even prefer "Create" rather than "Write" ;)
"Create blog entry" sounds clearer to me than "Create blog post". A
blog post is the entry when it's been posted. You can't create a blog
post since it's not yet been posted :)

Thinking about the action the user is doing I prefer "Write a new blog
post" to "Post a new entry". Posting a new entry sounds too techie to
me. +1 for blog post.
