That is exactly the point, I mean, you have linked 5 distinct pages containing the information required for the development of a new extention and it is not easy to find the right information inside the wiki . So in the end yes, I think that everything should be written in a single page. Sorry if I may sound irriverent, it is not my intention, I only would maje suggestions to improve XWiki.
