Hi devs,
This is an iteration based on the current work done on the Solr Search.

This proposal is keeping all the implemented functionality, adds some
styling and changes a bit the facets zone.
Next step, I want to iterate a bit on some filter elements, but the layout
shouldn't suffer changes.

Hi Caty,
this looks good. The one thing I'm not sure about is the grey background
behind result snippets, I find it a bit dark (it might be a matter of
personal preference). Also, I think the facets should be more explicit
("Language" instead of "Lang", "Creation date" instead of
"creationDate"...).
I'd also like to see an interface proposal for the administration section,
including the ability to alter the relative weight of all fields (and a
"reset" button!).

Hi Guillaume,
- the grey background: I used the ColorThemes values;
- facets naming: I haven't iterate of the filters elements, this is not a
final proposal, just an iteration, to get feedback and see what are the
first things that pop out. Right now I listed them just as they are in the
current implementation, but yes we need to add translations keys for them
and make them more user friendly;
- Right now I'm not planning to add anything new in the administration, but
I still haven't made a final proposal for the filters and how they can be
customize (advanced + facets).
- Regarding the 'relative weight of all fields' right now this is handled
by the 'Query Boost' and is found in the 'Advanced Search' section;
- 'reset' button: I already added one in the facets zone 'Refine your
search'

I don't think this is the right solution, for at least 3 reasons:
- We want search results to be unified for all users. If I talk to you
on the phone and tell you "search for "SOME WORD" and click on the
second
result" I need to know you're looking at the same list of results that I am
looking at
- Almost no user will know how to use the query boot anyway. Most of
them will not be aware of XWiki's data model and how to use the query boost
parameters
- Most of the time, it's the wiki admin that will want to be able to
decide what weight to give to each elements (title vs tags vs content for
instance). This is why I believe that the "query boost" part should go in
the administration section rather than in the "advanced search" menu.
- 'reset' button: I already added one in the facets zone 'Refine your
search'
The "reset" button would be equivalent to emptying the query boost line so
that it reverts to default.
