Hi,
we found in the svn-sandbox, that some kind of ntlm authentication is
implemented. In Jira we found the following request for that
"XWIKI-2496
Single Sign on HTTP Negiotiate login" (hope we are right on that).
Is this feature planned for an upcoming release?
Not at the moment.
IMO if someone cleans the code in sandbox and provides a good patch we
can apply them anytime in the platform (after we agree where to put
them).
Questions for devs (I haven't looked at the code in sandbox re
authenticators):
- do we agree we'd like them in the platform?
- is the code quality good and can we commit them in the platform as is?
- where do you think they should fit in the platform? In some
authenticators/ directory in platform/core/? In xwiki-core till we can
use components for them?
Thanks

If you want to implement SSO you'll have to use
the NTLM
module available in the sandbox and try and modify it to adapt it to
your
use case.
In my experience making SSO work usually takes 1-2 days depending on
what
you're trying to achieve, your system's configuration...
