Hello friends!
I'd like suggest to check how to bundle Xwiki with/in Ubuntu
repositories.
As examples I can mention Alfresco
(
http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Installing_Alfresco_on_Ubuntu_8.04) and
Openbravo
(
http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/ERP/2.50/Ubuntu_Installation#Ubuntu_Installa…) which
are the same J2EE application stack.
It will lower entry barrier for Xwiki usage and I hope will greatly
increase Xwiki user base.
Would be even greater to have xwiki-enterprise-static,
xwiki-enterprise-tomcat (we could look at what JSPWiki did for this
one), ... deb packages ;)
Sincerely,
Valdis Vitolins
