Would it work for you to have a separate macro for magnet links so you would type something like: {{magnet to="whatever syntax is used in magnent links" /}} It is relitively easy to create a macro like this, it can be done using a groovy script in a wiki page. Caleb Ivan Levashew wrote:

I think we need a new method in the WikiService to retrieve the default link label for a given link type. The insert/edit link wizards will then query the server for the default link label when the user leaves the label input empty.
