If the question is "why don't we do only a single release every 3 months" then the answer is: - allow users to test the released milestones and provide feedback and thus stabilize - provide a good release rythm so that users can see the project is alive and dynamic -making a release forces us to be "clean" and to finish tasks that have been started as much as possible and not leave them in a 80% finished state Thanks -Vincent
