Personally I think it's too early for building releases with JDK7. Users
can run our JDK6-built releases on 7 but we shouldn't build only on 7

I believe it's too early for our users (majority still on 6 especially
since we're an enterprise wiki). I prefer to wait for XWiki 6.0 to
mandate
Java 7.
I fully agree, requiring Java7 is too early right now and should only
happen on a major release. Since you may run XWIki on Java7 already, I do
not see any benefit to require it. Moreover, I do not have the feeling that
any feature introduce by Java7 are worth the requirement anyway. That said,
we may recommend using Java7 in our release notes.
