No progress done. I've been focusing almost all my time on stabilizing the build and functional tests. Need to talk to Sergiu/Sorin to decide what we do.

I updated the code to work with the most recent version of the Lucene library (3.3.0), did some performance improvements by changing the way we create index searchers and writers, but in order to improve the scoring I still have to struggle a bit with the new query parser module that was introduced in 3.2.0.

Done, Jenkins tests are running with CSRF protection since a few weeks before M1, no other big problems were found so far.

Hi Alex, Just popping in to suggest that with regard to CSRF protection, we probably should return an HTTP code different that 302 when the token is wrong. Probably a code in the 4xx range. It's especially important for AJAX requests. For example the "save and continue" button is broken right now when you have a CSRF error, it does not save, but does not inform the user of the error either. It happens to me quite often in development mode, since I tend to restart my server quite often leaving all my tabs with page in edit mode open. Got used to it now, but would be nice to fix. Jerome

Jean-Vincent will not have time to work on new UI for 3.2, I need to talk with him for what could be done for 3.3. On backend side a lot of work around XAR merging and error reporting has been committed already but there will be stabilization work on XAR merging during 3.3 probably and there are still some application logging isolation to do before 3.2 final (currently detailed extension manager log can still be found in the standard log).

I have a branch locally for the sheets management that includes a new xwiki-platform-sheet module that is used to apply a sheet to an XWiki document without using its content (i.e. without using the include macro). I'll push the branch in a few days. I haven't started to work on the page name/title auto-generation yet. I have started implementing the App Within Minutes wizard. I hit some problems trying to integrate the current class editor in a wizard step but I think I can overcome this using the new sheet management system.

New subject: [xwiki-devs] AJAX and Macro

Hi, I am very new to xwiki. I've written a java-macro (implementing the org.xwiki.rendering.macro.Macro interface), which is generating some base content. now, this content should be able to query data from the macro-bean via ajax-request. Is that possible? How should the ajax call look like? Thanks, Stefan.
