I am the beginner contributor of xwiki, and I need to find helps like how to
get the source files, and how to compile them properly , and maybe some
other problems when I am going on. I think most of the quesion at the
begginning might be disscussed before in the mailing list. Is there any
search tools for such kind information?

Yes most of the beginner level stuff is answered in previous mails.Its a
good practice to search for it before asking it on Dev list.

has a pretty nice search feature too.

if you want to build the sources from scratch the links Arun mentioned will
help you. If you have any questions you can also address them in our IRC
channel http://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/IRC
But for a start, if you just want to play with XWiki and write JS, HTML, CSS
you can use the latest snapshot
http://maven.xwiki.org/snapshots/org/xwiki/enterprise/xwiki-enterprise-jett…
just unzip it, launch start_xwiki, go to localhost:8080 and then check out
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/DevGuide/
where you can try to play classes, objects, velocity, js, skin extensions,
etc

Thank you very much, this suggestion would be very helpful, I still have
some problems.
I need to improve the xwiki editor and WYSIWYG editor, add some
autosuggestion futures to it, I should do it based on the source code of
the source of them, how can I get them, code on them and test them in a
stantard processes in xwiki development.
Could you describe the processes, or give me some introductions for it.
