To answer your "how to create a new document" query, I present a
snippet of Groovy:
newDoc = xwiki.getDocument(spaceName, newTitle)
newDoc.doc.setContent(newContent)
newDoc.doc.setAuthor(authorName)
newDoc.doc.setCreationDate(createdTime)
newDoc.doc.setDate(modifiedTime)
newDoc.saveDocument()
