Hi Radu,
Currently there is the Google Spreadsheet API
http://code.google.com/apis/spreadsheets/overview.html
For Google Docs (Word) you might be able to reverse engineer the HTTP
API so that you can read and write files on it.
In general it will be interesting to have a good discussion on how this
should integrate with XWiki.
I believe the main objective is:
1/ Being able to open a Word or Excel (and OpenOffice) file in Google
Docs provided that you have an account there
2/ Being able to save it back to the same place it came from in XWiki
3/ Use Google Docs service to transform these files in HTML
Additional features could be:
4/ An XWiki panel allowing to view files stored in a Google Docs account
and edit them from XWiki

Does anybody have any hint on where I might get some
Google Docs API
Developer documentation? (tried google already, nothing relevant came
up for several well thought search strings).
Thanks in advance,
Radu Danciu
