We need to see how impacted is Junco by our
recent changes in the base
skin
and also the content of our /templates/ folder.
Junco had a limited
number
of templates and was fall-backing totally on
Colibri's templates, but
this
can be easily fixed by coping Colibri's
templates inside Junco. We may
have
some problems with the uicomponents/ that have
specific rules just for
colibri or flamingo. Anyway, only testing will reveal in what state the
skin is.
We will keep the homepage, footer and the menu. Not sure how many
problems
we will have since Junco is using Bootstrap
3.0.0, while Flamingo is
build
on 3.2.0.
It would be nice to have Flamingo for testing purposes, but we will need
to
remove the AppBar (since it's mostly useful
for Groupware Flavor, not
documentation; and we are having custom panels).
So it will still be a custom skin, the question
is with what base: Junco
or Flamingo?
+1 for Flamingo

Personally I think I’d prefer to start using Flamingo with a custom
xwiki.org Color Theme (allows us to test Flamingo more and not have to
support Junco).
WDYT?
