I find the text to be minimal in order to justify the need of a popup.
I'm in favor of using Tooltips (

I know there are problems on mobiles with hover and tooltips, but I find it
more elegant than using the modal.
Thanks,
Caty
No extra-click to see the state of the watchlist.
Not too cluttered for day-to-day usage.
A new user can still now what these buttons are about thanks to the help
button.
Works for desktop and mobiles.
WDYT?
Thanks,
Guillaume

Otherwise hitting the configuration anytime you would like to see
notifications could be a discomfort.
Depends what is our priority: reading
or managing the notifications.
Managing the notifications is one thing. Checking the watch *state* for
the
current page ("am I watching this
page?") is another thing, which should
not be hidden behind 2 clicks, but that's just my opinion. Maybe the
users
don't care that much where the current page
is being watched or not.
Thanks,
Marius
