I think our build is failing a bit too frequently and we're not always
paying enough attention to checkstyle rules(me included) and the like

sounds cool, with Jerome's mention that the points system should be
proportional, so that people that commit less have the chance to have just as
many points as people that commit more.
Now we only need to make sure people won't start stacking patches on their
machines to stay at 0.
