Hi,
Today is supposed to be the 2.0M3 release date but since we've had
lots of delays on 2.0M2 there's no point in releasing M3 today. I've
reviewed some of the important tasks we wanted to do in the 2.0
release and that are not done yet:
- section editing in 2.0 syntax - JV
Actually it has been shipped with 2.0M2 :)
http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWIKI-2881
- XAR in 2.0 syntax (at least for some pages) -
All
I plan to take advantage of
http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XE-471
to finish Marius and Eddy's work on the dashboard conversion to
xwiki/2.0.
- new skin - Guillaume + Laurent + someone to
implement it (?)
- macro categories (this one was decided late and wasn't planned
initially so I don't think it's a blocker but I'm still listing it
here) - Asiri
- clustering/distributed events - Thomas
- captcha - Jerome
- watch list bug fixes (+ activity stream refactoring) - JV
I've started to work on it but I don't have much for the moment.
I don't think I can make it for August 10th, not even with a few
more days.
I've talked to JV and he's agreed to finish the watchlist including
the activity stream refactoring + apply Caty's UI for 2.0 final.
However this will need to span over the RCs till end of August.
I'll also work with JV on the design tomorrow so that the new
watchlist uses the new architecture.
Thanks

- new blog UI
- Caty
I've volunteered to review/apply those patches.
