Hi I have an installation of xwiki enterprise running on windows 2008 with tomcat 6 and
xwiki 2.1.1.25889 and recently I have noticed a
[tomcat_home]\work\Catalina\localhost\xwiki folder which contains folders with names such
as 0bRde345 which contain attachments. This work folder is growing very large, I
understood that the attachments are stored in the database so I wonder if you could let me
know what is causing the sudden growth if these files?

These are temporary folders used during PDF export. Normally, they
should be removed after the export finishes. It's OK to delete these
folders manually, just that they shouldn't be left there in the first
place. Can you try to export a PDF manually and check if a new folder is
created? If it happens for every export, then there's something wrong.

Thanks for the reply I have now removed the temporary folders to free up some space,
however it looks like the 'Export to PDF' feature is broken which has caused our
issues - the following appears in the log files when attempting to Export to PDF:
impl.PdfExportImpl - Tidy configuration file doesn't exist. Using default
configuration.
apps.FOUserAgent - Only simple-page-masters are supported on page-sequences. Using default
simple-page-master from page-sequence-master "all-pages". (See position 4:48)
Any insight into the cause of this would be much appreciated.
