Hi,
As planned I'd like to release 1.3M2. It was planned for today but
since we're still busy I propose to do the release over the week end
and on monday morning.
Is there anything we're still working on that prevents 1.3M2 from
being released? And if so when can you have these finished?
Thanks

I'd like to test and review XWIKI-1621, check that XWIKI-2100 didn't
break anything in the skin, and finish XWIKI-2098.
Since we're already left for the 1.3M2 release do you think you could
have this finished for Monday EOD? I'd like us to progress quickly on
the 1.3 final release so that we can stop maintaining the 1.2.x branch
and move forward faster, i.e. start 1.4 and focus on performances.
In the future I don't think we should start new potentially dangerous
changes just 1 or 2 days before a release is due ;) Thats said I'm
glad you're doing these kinds of changes to make the project progress.
It's just a question of timing.
XWIKI-2117 might also be important, but I'm not
sure it can easily be
fixed. I have some workarounds in mind, but a real solution would be
to
switch to UTF-8. The whole web did, we're left behind.
If we decide not to wait for XWIKI-2117, and we don't find a better
workaround, then we'll have to add in the installation notes that if
accents are needed, then XWiki should be configured to work in UTF-8.
This is not something worse than before so I don't think it's required
for 1.3M2, especially since we're doing timeboxing.
We can fix that in 1.3RC1 or in 1.4M1.
BTW as soon as 1.3RC1 is ready I'll branch it from trunk so that work
on 1.4M1 can start.
Thanks
