Dear All,
Since I updated from XWiki Enterprise1.9 to 2.0.3.24848, I can't add
users to user-defined groups anymore. The new users are still assigned
to the default XWikiAllGroup. I had made an XAR from my 1.9 Xwiki space
to save some changes I made, which I imported again after updating.
(Incidentally, the Xwiki Rights, Xwiki Global Rights, Xwiki Stylesheet
Extension Class, XWiki Comment Class, XWiki Skin Class and the
Javascript Extension Class pages in the XWiki space show errors when I
look at them -- the exception: Failed to execute macro: velocity).
I fear that something went wrong when I reimported the old Xwiki space.
The rights seem to be affected with users having privileges which they
shouldn't have according to the rights settings. Could someone please
explain if any changes have been made to the macros on these pages from
version 1.9 to 2.0? If so, would it be possible to print the xwiki
editor content (where the velocity macros reside) in this forum so that
the content could be compared? An XWiki 2.0 space XAR would be fine too.
Then these old pages could be saved under other names, and only these
2.0 documents would be selected, imported and I could compare them.
Any help someone can offer on these matters would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.
Greetings,
Steven Calkins

Hi,
I was wondering, can the modification date be manually overridden? I mean, how does the org.codehaus.swizzle.confluence.Page.setModified() work?
Thank you very much,
Allen

Hello
i am most amazed since yesterday regarding xwiki and the very weird changes
of skin, as a result of an editing a simple page, or editing a panel.
i have no logical explanation to this. I just edited an existing panel(added
a few normal links for pages from the wiki pages) AND my surprise was that
on viewing the pages i got myself a different color of skin.
yesterday, on another wiki(different computer. nothing to connect them) i
edited a page and got a differnet skin.
does anyone from the developers know anything about this? it cannot just
happend to me twice :D
Looking forward to discussing this.
Thank you.

Hello friends of XWiki,
Several XWiki members will be participating at FOSDEM next year in
February ( http://fosdem.org/ ), and we're trying to determine if
there's interest in applying for a devroom, which would mean half a day
or more of XWiki-related presentations.
- Are there any people interested in participating to such presentations?
- Does anybody want to do such a presentation, besides XWiki committers?
I'd need answers to these questions soon, since the deadline for
application is in two days. Note that FOSDEM is a developer-oriented
conference, so presentations should be rather technical.
FYI, there is no participation fee, anybody can attend FOSDEM as long as
there are places in the rooms.

Hello,
I wanted to know how to access the Xwiki workspace I created without downloading the package hsqldb (for the users of the workspace).
Thank you!

Hello
i saw some posts here for defining page sections.
what i did and fail apparently was: have some tables in a page and i wanted
to define each table as a section, so that when to edit, the user cand edit
just the specific table he wants to. not the hole part.
so i created for test 2 tables with titles:
1. section 1
..the actual table
1.1 section 2
..the actual table
but the sections weren't created.
Is there any documentation for this, please?
Thank you
