Hello, Here http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Upgrade#HUpgradingwikid… it is stated "Starting with XWiki 4.2 you are able to use the Extension Manager to perform XAR upgrades that support automatic merges and conflict resolution." Is it true for all XWiki versions? because I'm not able to find any "upgrade extension" in Extension Manager on myxwiki.org. [xwiki-users] how to let my new panel displayed on the right of the page?

Hi, I create a new panel. Now I want it to be displayed on the right of pages. I used the Panel wizard and drag and drop it to the right. I find that I only displayed on the panel page(http://localhost:8080/xwiki/bin/view/Panels/). If I go to the home page of my wiki(http://localhost:8080/xwiki/bin/view/Main/), my panel is not displayed. The right part of the home page not changed. How can I do? I use XWiki 5.0.1. [xwiki-users] Macro for "related pages" or "sons pages" or "see also"

Hi, Is there a Macro/Extension/Solution for Xwiki similar to the one used in Wikipedia, I am thinking of some tool that allows a page to have son pages (tree hierarchy if possible) and to list them automatically, like the "see also" feature in wikipedia, or "related articles" Does that make sense ? or is it done manually in wikipedia ? [xwiki-users] Can't access my WIKI

I have a server named wikiServer01.company.com There is a DNS alias to that server for wiki.company.com I get all sorts of errors in the logs about The wiki [wiki] does not exist. When I try to attach pictures to a wiki page. Caused by: com.xpn.xwiki.XWikiException: Error number 2 in 0: The wiki [wiki] does not exist at com.xpn.xwiki.XWiki.getXWiki(XWiki.java:505) I can't seem to find how to set an alias for the server in the documentation. Is this setup even supported? [xwiki-users] Cannot create a hyperlink to another page on the Wiki using Link > Wiki page.

I'm running Xwiki Enterprise 5.0 milestone 2 on Windows XP. When I'm editing a page and I try to add a link to another page I get a transport_error and I cannot see any other pages listed. [xwiki-users] Edit and save custom document from view action

I have customized document (i.e. attached object of the custom class to document) and I'd like to change its status from the view mode. I tried to modify ClassSheet for view mode with following HTML: <form method="post" action="/xwiki/bin/edit/$doc.space/$doc.name"> <input type="hidden" name="Custom.Class_0_property" value="$myvalue"/> <input type="submit" value="Submit" name="action_save" class="button"> </form> but got error: Warning This request contains an invalid authentication information. Could anybody provide me some hints for me in the right direction? Thanks! Valdis

[xwiki-users] Error when inserting Macro

Hi, 1) Is it possible to specify a file size limit for a specific page ? For example, a specific page has 600MB for its file size limit, while other have the default. 2) Is there a limit to the amount of files we can attach to a page ? If the limit is by size, what is the total size limit for one page and how can I change it? Xwiki version :1.4.1 Thanks -- Victor

[xwiki-users] Video Macro not detected by WYSIWYG editor

Hi; I just installed Video Macro, and progress report seemed correct - Installing extension [elenaoanatabaranu:video-macro-1.2] on namespace [wiki:xwiki] - Importing document [xwiki:Macros.Video20] in language [en]... - Successfully installed extension [elenaoanatabaranu:video-macro-1.2] on namespace [wiki:xwiki] what happened is i got a new annoying space under Home called Macros and could not find Video macro in the editor tool for adding macros tried manually and got unknown macro error message ! I'm trying to edit a object in a wiki page I created a class with name = "Test.Message" and a single string attribute named "text" I put this code in a page {{velocity}} {{html clean="false" wiki="true"}} #set($mobj=$doc.getObject("Tests.Message",true)) $mobj.display("text",$context.action)<p/> {{/html}} {{/velocity}} It show the form but when I save the page the object is not saved/updated.
