I am testing XWiki 5.0.2 (standalone ZIP version) to take a look at some extensions which don't work with our current XWiki 4.0. One of these extensions is the Diagram Appication <http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Diagram+Application> I have a couple of questions: 1) In the Diagram Applications, there are nice graphs (computers, network, etc). I can see those graphics when I am in the edit mode, but as soon as I "Save & View", those graphics are not displayed anymore! How can I get these graphics to show? 2) I would like to include a diagram in another page, but if I use the "Include" macro, I only get the "XML-text" (and not the actual diagram). How can I "include" a diagram into a page? [xwiki-users] Number field - separate decimal places with comma instead point

I hope that I don't have overseen a simple switch in the Administration interface - I want to format the number field for German users. Since we use a comma to separate the places after the decimal point, I would like to know if that is somehow possible to achieve for a float/double datatype field? [xwiki-users] Setting page permission when creating an article - AWM

Hi Xwiki Users. I have a simple question about user rights. Here's a simple example of what I'm trying to do: User_X has a problem with the printer. 1 - He creates an issue in "Requests" space (created via App Within Minutes). 2 - The IT departament checks it and solves the problem. 3 - The user marks it as closed. What I'm asking is: Can user_X be able to read only his own question and not user_Y's question? I mean, I know that I can change a single page permission, but I got to do it manually. Is it possible to make the item readable only by its autor and by a certain group(in this case, the IT departament) when creating an article? Thank you very much.

[xwiki-users] XWiki User/Dev meet up in France? Paris?

Hi XWiki users, I’m wondering if we’d be enough to start organizing an XWiki users/dev meetup in France. Could you let me know in reply if you’d be interested in joining if I was to organize such a meetup? If we’re enough we could imagine organizing it in September or October for example. XWiki SAS has an office located in Paris (http://www.xwiki.com/lang/en/Company/Contact) and they could host us. Note for those who’d be coming from afar, I’m sure that it would be possible to have you sleep at some XWiki SAS employee’s place in Paris or even in the office (there’s a shower and kitchen). Interesting or not? If you’re interested what would you be interested in doing/seeing during this time? We could imagine a 3-4 hours meetup or even a 1 day meetup. We could also imagine having a hackathon during the time, in this case probably 2 days would be nicer. WDYT? Thanks -Vincent

[xwiki-users] Google Apps Extension - Help?

So installing the Google Apps Extension seemed easy enough, but now I'm a bit lost with getting the right info from my google account... any help would be appreciated! In the xwiki app, the links go to OAuth1, which google no longer uses, so I went to the OAuth2 pages, but am not sure exactly what I need to enable, etc.. In the xwiki settings, I need to fill in: Application Name Secret Key Scope Domain Google Apps I have a Google Apps for Business account set up, with my own domain. [xwiki-users] Xwiki User profiles publicly accessible

Hi There, I’ve noticed that an XWiki installation has its user directory as well as full user profiles openly accessible to the public. Is this not a huge security risk? Or am I missing a configuration setting somewhere? For example, http://www.xwiki.com has all its users publicly accessible here: http://www.xwiki.com/lang/en/Main/UserDirectory and each user’s complete personal profile details is viewable. Is there a way to secure this information? Thanks, Werner

[xwiki-users] myxwiki sends multiple notification emails

Hello all! We have an interesting problem with our myxwiki installation (selfbus.myxwiki.org) When one registers for notification emails, one gets 4 emails instead of one. Is there anything I can do to fix this behaviour? Thanks in advance, Stefan

[xwiki-users] HQL order by object property

Hello there, I've been banging my head against the desk a few days now over this. I just can't find the answer online anywhere. I'd like to perform an HQL query and use a number property of an object on each document to sort my results. I understand SQL very well, but I just need to know the object/property stucture -- exact syntax -- to use as the order by argument. I followed the FAQ tutorial to create my class systeem, and it all works fine, but I need to be able to display the records/objects in order. What I have: #set($sql = ", BaseObject as obj, IntegerProperty as prop where obj.name = doc.fullName and obj.className = 'Sensor Types.SensorTypeClass' and obj.name <> 'Sensor Types.SensorTypeTemplate' order by ??? asc") ...except for the ??? of course. I've tried many things, but I can't figure out the structure I need to place there. The property I need to sort by is "TypeID" and is attached to the SensorTypeClass, and is an integer. [xwiki-users] Can I remove these interface things?

Started to use XWiki yesterday as my boss asked me to. How (and where) can I change the logon page interface? Wanted to remove that "search field" and change that spaced writings "L o g - i n". http://i.imgur.com/tOGXy6K.png Also, can I remove that "Tags:" from the bottom of every page? "Annotations" at the top too?
