Hi!
Im trying to upgrade from xwiki 4.2 to 7.
I already installed xwiki 7 and postgres in another server for testing
purposes since Im new with xwiki. I adjusted the settings and started
postgres. Xwiki 7 is working fine. Although I think its a bit slow (I
installed in a virtual server, maybe thats it?).
My main question is how to import all the old content to the new xwiki?
I have a postgres dump of 11GB from the old xwiki. Should I use it in the
new xwiki? If so, how?
Is it the best way considering how far the versions are?
Thanks in advance!

Bonjour,
J?ai fait de m?me ave Debian 8 ?> m?me r?sultats.

Sounds like for some reason you don't have require.js loaded.
When you look at a page source do you find <script
type="text/javascript"
src="/xwiki/webjars/requirejs/2.1.15/require.min.js?r=1"></script> in
the head ?
If you do is this link actually returning you javascript ?

You should also probably clean your browser cache, just in case.

Greetings,
I've configured the Office converter on my Xwiki (Enterprise 6.2)
I'm using an external process, and the wiki can successfully connect to it.
The problem occurs once I've upload the file (a basic .odt file with basic
text and an empty table).
I've checked the logs, and here is the stacktrace :
I think it's a permission problem.. but I have no idea where XWiki is trying
to write the temporary converted file (I've worked with openoffice before,
and I know a temporary copy is always written somewhere)
/PS : Xwiki is running on Jetty./
Best Regards,

Ok so looks like XWiki webjars handling is not a big fan of root webapp.
Would be great if you could create a bug issue on http://jira.xwiki.org.

Hello,
We are using XWiki Enterprise 6.1 and the Watchlist Application.
Now I got a user who can go to the Watchlist page http://(DOMAIN)/xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/(USERN)?category=watchlist, but is not able to edit the "Watched elements" because the list is not showed.
We know there are elements he is watching because of the daily email and because the RSS feed shows the last modifications.
What can I do to let the user realy manage his watched elements?
Thanx for taking the time in reading this and probably answering my question.
Yours sincerly,

Hi,
I recently upgraded from XWiki 5.something to XWiki 7.1. The previous configuration stored attachments in the filesystem, using a location set in xwiki.properties:
environment.permanentDirectory=/myxwikidata/xwiki/data
After upgrading I am missing icons from the wiki, and links to attachments are broken. After consulting http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Filesystem+Attachment+… I see that the location used for attachments (obtained via Utils.getComponent(FilesystemStoreTools.class).storageDir.getAbsolutePath() ) is /var/cache/tomcat7/Catalina/localhost/xwiki/storage
Does anyone know where this location is set, and why the one in xwiki.properties is not used? I see mention in that file that:
"Note if the system property xwiki.data.dir is set then this property is not used."
But grepping the configuration files reveals no mention of the parameter xwiki.data.dir
HI
I'm interested in using eclipse ecore to develop xwiki applications, as this
is a framework is which is particularly powerful, mature and has a strong
model driven engineering eco-system supporting it.
How best would I go about this?
The eclipse project seems dead. I see there is an extension that claims to
do just what I am looking for - however it appears to be quite old
(http://www.objectsecurity.com/en-products-other-tech-semxwiki.html).
And the eclipse xwiki also seems very old, and no longer works with the
current 7x rest api.
is anyone doing anything similar? Besides via the web ui, how else do people
develop Xwiki data models?
Is it possible to import something like uml?
Thanks
