I'm just curious about brandname such as XWiki versus "generic" forename
such as Xwiki.
For example in languages I know (Latvian, English, Russian) any forename
(given name for person or dog, city or ship name, etc.) starts with
capital and then, if not all characters are capital, it follows with
small letters.
There are brandnames (mostly intentionally, to differ from "generic"
name) this rule is not followed: XWiki, iOS, PiTiVi, etc.
So, when I write about Xwiki:
1. I don't know it is spelled XWiki,
2. I'm too lazy to bother,
3. I intentionally spell it Xwiki, to not add disclaimer, that iOS or
XWiki or ... is a registered trademark (if is),
4. something else...
What do you think?

Is there some trick to this? I've added color and font to the plugins list and to both the toolbar, but neither of these are displayed. Do I need to do something else?

Hi, All!
Does anyone know how to tweak XWiki to make comments searchable:
1. In wiki
2. In all sub-wikis and workspaces?
3. In some sub-wikis and workspaces?
Kind regards,
Dmitry
I'm wondering what are advanced possibilities for extraParams property
for Livetable macro
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Livetable%
2BMacro#HParameter24options
E.g. how/does it support: like, greater, less, not, and, or, grouped
statements?
Thanks!

Hi, All!
Looks like I found another bug with short URLs with Tuckey's short URLs:
XWiki + Tuckey's short URLS leads to Application Within Minutes stop working with entries with spaces in the entry name
http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-9654
Is there any fast fix for this?
Kind regards,
Dmitry
I have been trying to enter a new event in the calendar on the EventCaledar
page only to be given the message below. I only have the one page open, no
one else is editing the page (at least not one that is owning up to it), and
I am logged in as administrator. I can't seem to get what I am doing wrong.
please help!
Thanks!

Hi,
I have just started using XWiki, which I have deployed under Tomcat on my Ubuntu server. It seems to work ok, and I have been able to edit and add pages.
Now I have set everything to require registration - so I added the XWikiGuest user, and blocked all stuff - which seem to work great.
Now I would have added one page, and I would like this page to be viewed by unregistered users (e.g. the general public). So I added the "View" permissions for this page for unregistered users/XwikiGuest - but somehow it doesn't work - when trying to view this page while not signed in, I am still 302'ed to the registration/login page!
Any tips on how to solve this?
Thanks!
Regards,
Hugo

Hi, All!
Once upon a time it was a Wiki Manager. And it was a lis of ALL wikis in it.
There was also "xwiki" wiki, where into the page XWiki.XWikiServerXwiki one could change a lot of useful staff for the main wiki.
In the "old school wiki" I could set up aliases for main wiki, in the 5.2 there is no "xwiki" wiki in the list. Does anyone know how to get and change this information?
Kind regards,
Dmitry
Hi,I have the following hierarchy of pages in the same space:
page 1└ page 1.1 ├ page 1.1.1 └ page 1.1.2page 2└ page 2.1
On page 1.1, I want to display the subtree from this page (ie. pages 1.1.1
and 1.1.2) but neither page 1 and page 2 tree.I use the hierarchy macro, but
I don't kwow how to specify page 1.1 as the root.{{hierarchy space="Intern"
excludes="Intern.WebPreferences" displayvalue="displayTitle"/}}Is it
possible to do that?Thanks.
